Criminal Defense, Family Law & Civil Litigation
Travis A. Walker graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and continued his education at WMU’s Cooley School of Law to earn his Juris Doctorate. He began his career working with various government agencies and private firms in the Washington D.C. area, before moving to Utah to work with Snow College and in private practice.
Institutional Experience, Now Advocating for Private Individuals
Travis has represented both the “Davids” and the “Goliaths” in matters ranging from divorce and family law through complex litigation and government compliance. He is thoughtful, thorough, and professional in his work.
Travis is fluent in Spanish and is currently defending clients in criminal proceedings and representing parties in civil lawsuits and divorce, alimony, and custody matters in Utah Court.
A Title IX Expert, On Your Side
Having worked in-house for a university and as a third-party investigator for over seven years, Travis is now using his specialized expertise in disciplinary processes, and policies at colleges and universities, including those used in cases of sexual assault and misconduct covered by Title IX, as well as free speech and freedom of religion issues across campuses. If you or someone you love, has experienced gender-based discrimination, including harassment or other predatory behaviors, or has been accused of misconduct on campus, Travis can help you understand your legal rights and options, file complaints with the school or educational institution and represent you in court, if necessary. Travis will work tirelessly to protect student and employee’s rights and hold schools and educational institutions accountable for their failure to protect them.
