With almost 20 years experience, Aaron Dodd provides sound counsel and common-sense advice to help his clients prevail. His practice areas include civil litigation, criminal defense, family law and appeals. Aaron knows how to work with opposing counsel and judges to achieve beneficial results. When Aaron takes on a case, his clients profit from his extensive trial experience, his clear understanding of the law and comprehensive litigation skills.
Aaron was born and raised in Texas where he first developed an interest in the law. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2001 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. In 2004, he graduated from the J. Rueben Clark law school, where he served one year as an associate editor for the Education & Law Journal. After law school, Aaron clerked for the Honorable Fred D. Howard of the Utah Fourth District Court where he learned valuable insight into the workings of the court. Aaron joined Fillmore Spencer in 2005 as an associate and became a partner at the firm in 2016. In 2011, Aaron received the Distinguished Service award from the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Aaron’s experience has provided him with a wide variety of diverse litigation experience.
